G is for Goldie London
Goldie London is just plain cool. The clothes are cool, the brand is cool, it’s designer (Michelle) is cool and its followers are cool. So, basically, have some Goldie in your wardrobe and you’ll be cool too!
Goldie London began in London’s Spitalfields and Portobello markets and now brings a piece of East London to the world! The designs are wearable, fashion-forward pieces and mix feather light with rock ‘n’ roll.
Now I know it’s my shop and I have to say that I love everything, but I really do love what Goldie London is all about. It would be nice if we had a bit more of the London weather and warmer temperatures in Edinburgh to truly show off the Goldie garments, but even with a jacket or cardi chucked on top of these clothes, they are amazing.
It’s been hard to pick out my favourites that I still have in stock. However, I have whittled it down!
Firstly, this floral jacket is beautiful – light, silky fabric make it hang perfectly. Dress it up or wear with jeans and you’ll turn heads. The jacket is £65 – I have 2x S/M left! I also have the vest underneath that the model is wearing in the ivory or pink!
Next up is “Emmie” – this blouse has sections of fabric cut out of the front and back. Dare to ware with just a contrast bra or bikini top or even with a vest / cammi underneath, it still looks brilliant. Great value at £45. I have 3 different patterns – 1x S/M and 2x M/L – going like hot cakes!
I couldn’t pass up “Addyson” either! My Twitter & Facebook followers will have seen the picture of Millie MacIntosh wearing the lime one. It’s available in Lime or a peachy/ pinky colour. Only £59 and won’t take up much room in a suitcase if you’re off on holiday!
Fancy something a bit more casual? “Cassia” is a great summer knit , it’s a light crocheted jumper with contrast top and bottom split by a cheeky nude band. This looks brilliant with skinny jeans or even a cigarette trouser. The jumper is available in turquoise or peach at £44.
Finally we have “Lana” – she’s a longer length dress finishing mid-calf. Sleeve-less and a light fabric to keep you cool during the summer months. Team with a more formal blazer and you could easily wear this to the office! Take the jacket off and you’re ready to party. This dress comes in two patterns and costs £65.
Hopefully you will love Goldie London as much as I do – it’s perfect if you’re looking for something different and it’s definitely rock ‘n’ roll. Oh, new styles are expected in early July – watch this space for more information!
As usual, you can follow my daily ramblings onFacebook or Twitter!
Hope to see you gorgeous shoppers soon,
