Fashion Fix Friday
Fashion Fix Friday – 2nd May Edition
Simple fixes to make you feel fashionable on holiday
Whilst holidaying in the gorgeous Aviemore this week, it’s been little things that have made me feel fashionable on holiday. No mean feat up here because it’s a very casual and outdoorsy place.
1. I got my nails done. It’s handy having Vernis Voyage Nails the boutique! I opted for a classic red nail which, for me, makes my hands look elegant and therefore finishes off an outfit perfectly. Only £25 for Artistic Colour Gel that will last at least 2 weeks!
2. My Nancy Dee palazzo pants. I love these trousers – made from bamboo so super soft yet heavy and drape perfectly, they can be worn with plain tops and flats. Stylish but not fashionista so I could show my fashion personality yet not look out of place. Available in blue for this summer – £59.
3. A Postcard from Brighton long line vests, tops and sweatshirt. These work brilliantly well with jeans and trainers (or hiking boots), so very practical for Aviemore, yet they are effortlessly cool and a bit different. And, like the Nancy Dee trousers, pack well and don’t crease too much! Vests only £24 and tops from £48 – £60.
4. Accessories! Even though I’ve been wearing jeans, trainers and my waterproof jacket or WWUL cardi all week, I have had on either a necklace or earrings and my scarf. For me, it’s a way to show off my fashion personality and it turns plain or simple clothing into something special.
Right, I’m off to pack up and head back to the city so I can open Just g Boutique tomorrow!
